* Great tournament turnout! Thank you everyone for coming out and having fun. Scores are posted in the draws. Sorry about the
heat - nother nature was not too kind this year. Recap and pics will be posted in two weeks.
6/28 Thu
* ALL draws have been posted. Please read and note your time of play.
Saturday:
Men's A Singles start at 9am Sat
Men's B Singles start at 8am Sat
Men's C singles start at 10am Sat
Women's A,B, and C Singles start at 2pm Sat
Note: Singles final mathces can be chosen as 2 out of 3 sets since they all are at end of the day.
Sunday:
Mixed doubles start 1pm Sun
Junior, all Men's and Women's doubles start 8am Sun. Note: Final matches have to be 9-game (not 2 out of 3 sets)
Many back-to-back matches due to tight schedule, but is shouldn't be too bad cause its doubles.
Let me know if you see any errors or conflict, especially those who are playing in two brackets.
Important Reminders:
* Lookup your match time on web on Friday and plan accordingly.
* Figure out driving instructions - it's quite tricky. Don't use Mapquest because it is wrong. Print out driving instructions and give
yourself an extra 15 minutes!
* Arrive 15 minutes before your match time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you will forfiet the match. Your oponent will not
be happy if they don't get to play because you didn't show up.
* Plan to be there all day if you plan to win the trophy! Bring a lawn chair, hat, sun screen, and a magazine. Food and drinks will be
available by CATA.
* Read the rules, e.g., 9-game pro-set, maximum of 10 minutes for warm up.

* It looks like we can accomodate everyone - no wait list. Will keep you posted.

* Resigtration deadline passed at 12am 6/27. Thank you all for registering in time. Preliminary draws should be posted by Thu night.
* If you haven't sent in your payment by now, then wait and bring your $ with you and pay at check-in.
* If you are on wait list, it doesn't mean you are totally out of luck. I might turn on the lights and go to 9pm and accomodate a few
more players.
* We are getting full for Sat singles, given the schedule of 8am-8pm, 1 hr/match. I may need to remove some players who are
playing up to make room - sorry in advanced. You'll find out more on this when the draws are posted later this week.
* Scheduling the draws will be a challenge with those involved in two brackets singles or doubles. If I run into schedule conflict I will
need to remove you from a bracket, especially if you are playing up.
* Given Sat is full, all Finals matches will be asked to play a 9-game pro set instead of the optional 2 out of 3 sets.

* Anyone looking for a doubles or mixed partner should send me a request by Thu. I might be able to form some partners.
* Men's Singles A is fulll. You can sign up but I will put you on waiting list in case if I can expand bracket to 32 or get a cancellation
from someone.
* Don't be spooked by having to play two brackets (e.g. A and B) in one day. It's unlikely that you will make it deep in the draws for
both brackets. Therefore it's not as scary, uh hum, as I made it sound below.

* We need more women and juniors to sign up. Encourage a friend or someone you know to sign up.
* Some people are signing up to play in two singles or two doubles brackets. This could be a marathon for you, and you may play
some matches back-to-back. So get fit, rest before Sat, bring extra shirts, bananas, power foods, Ben Gay, whatever - you are
gonna need them.
* Some have made a request to not be paired against their relative or hitting partner in the first round. Once I post the draws on Wed
or Thu, you need to let me know by Friday morning to make any changes. Draws will be final by Friday afternoon.
* If you have sent in your registration and did not see your name on the Players list, then my email notification must have gotten sent
to my Bulk inbox, so please re-register. Likewise, if you see an error, like your name in the wrong bracket, please let me know asap.

* Note that you don't have to be Asian to join the tournament. Everyone is welcome to participate as long as there is room in the
draws.
* Deadline for signup will beTuesday 6/26.
* The draws will be posted Thu 6/28 so that you will know roughly what times you will be playing.
* You can sign up for both singles and doubles. You can play up (sign-up for higher bracket than your actual level) but not down.
